Can the FlashFish T1200S Power a Gaming Laptop at Camp?

Short answer: the T1200S has a published 230V/50Hz, 1200W continuous AC envelope, so many gaming-laptop adapter classes are far below its headline watt ceiling. That is a screening result, not a compatibility or runtime promise. The exact regional adapter input, laptop mode, simultaneous loads, measured energy, cable condition and dry campsite setup still decide whether the plan fits.

What the T1200S evidence actually establishes

The current Europe page for the FlashFish T1200S states 230V/50Hz pure-sine AC, 1200W rated output, 2400W peak output and 768Wh nominal capacity. The current Shopify snapshot also lists the product ACTIVE with a live Europe URL and available inventory.

Those values define the station's external envelope. They do not identify the laptop adapter's wall input, prove that a transient event fits, or tell us how much energy a game session consumes. The local T1200S manual-derived record is from another 120V/60Hz region, so the delivered EU label and current regional instructions must control sockets, voltage and use.

Do not convert adapter output into wall draw

ASUS currently lists 280W and 330W adapter options for configurations in its ROG Strix G16 (2024) family, with 100-240V and 50/60Hz inputs. Those 280W and 330W figures describe adapter DC output classes. They are useful for identifying the exact power supply, but they are not evidence that the adapter pulls that value continuously from AC.

Photograph both sides of the delivered adapter. Define the laptop mode before measuring

Write down whether the intended session is light office work, creative work or gaming; whether the laptop battery begins full or is charging; the display brightness; any performance profile; and all USB accessories. Repeat the intended high-demand interval long enough to capture meaningful watt-hours, not just one instantaneous number.

If the plan switches modes, budget each mode separately. A low-power desktop reading does not establish the gaming interval, and a short peak reading does not establish trip energy.
